Whole House Navigation

Mary's mom, Irene, is now discharged from the rehab. If you think about it, a small change (walking with a walker) is now leading to a completely new way of navigating in the house. Irene used to go up and down the stairs with very little help, walk through narrow path turning sideways, bend over to reach things. She was not in great shape, but she was fine navigating. Now Irene can't go up and down with the walker, has to have a wider path to go through, and probably shouldn't bend over at all for an extended period of time until she gets better. So, the same house she's lived in for decades now feels unfamiliar.
